Guide to Event Tickets & Rewards

Last Updated: 6/6/2024

When taking part in The Elder Scrolls Online's in-game events, you can earn Event Tickets in addition to that event's unique rewards. These Event Tickets can then be traded in at a special vendor in exchange for different fragments, allowing you to eventually summon unique collectible rewards. Learn about this unique system in this complete guide.

EVENT TICKETS & VENDORS

Event Tickets

Event Tickets are a unique currency you can earn that is available only during in-game events. To earn Event Tickets, you must usually participate in the current event's main activities. For example, during the New Life Festival, you can earn Event Tickets by completing the New Life Festival daily quests. Because the activities that earn you Event Tickets differ between events, you should check out the announcement article on the official ESO website before each event to ensure you know exactly what you need to do.

Note that depending on the activity and length of the event, you can earn only a certain amount of Event Tickets per day per account. This means that to collect a large number of tickets, you must participate in the in-game event over a period of time.

You can see how many Event Tickets you currently own in the Currency section of your Inventory, and you can only ever hold 12 Event Tickets total. Note that if you’ve hit your Event Tickets cap and you earn more, those extra tickets are lost (but you will be able to re-earn them for that day). This means that if you're at or near the cap, it's a good idea to spend them at the Impresario (below) as soon as possible.

Event Vendors

Once you have enough Event Tickets, you can spend them at a special vendor called the Impresario. This vendor is available only during in-game event periods, but she always appears at the same locations in Tamriel, including Daggerfall in Glenumbra, Davon's Watch in Stonefalls, Vulkhel Guard in Auridon, Belkarth in Craglorn, Vivec City in Vvardenfell, Alinor in Summerset, Rimmen in Elsweyr, Solitude in Western Skyrim, Leyawiin in Blackwood, Gonfalon Bay in High Isle, and Necrom in the Telvanni Peninsula. Her assistant, Philius Dormier, can found at all the same locations as the Impresario and maintains a presence at all times regardless of event status.

The Impresario can stock the following items:

  • Base collectible Fragments for a Collectible
  • Upgrade collectible Fragments for a Collectible
  • Unique pets (depending on the event)
  • Unique collectibles (depending on the event)
  • Style pages (depending on the event)
  • Furniture (depending on the event)

Philius Dormier maintains a stock of his own. As assistant to the Impresario, he maintains a rotating stock of past items from the Impresario. Check back regularly to see if he has anything you missed on its initial appearance!

Additionally, there is a vendor named Nenulaure at the Belkarth Festival Grounds in Craglorn who is also available during in-game event periods. She specializes in the exotic creatures known as Indriks, and sells collectibles used to unlock them as mounts. Her stock rotates seasonally on a regular rotation. Note that you cannot trade items purchased with Event Tickets. In the future, the Impresario may stock new, different items, so keep an eye out!

BASE AND UPGRADE COLLECTIBLE FRAGMENTS

Once you have acquired your Event Tickets and have found the Impresario, you can spend them on unique items. In almost all cases, these include Base and Upgrade Fragments, which allow you to summon a base item and then upgrade it with specific items you can acquire from different events throughout the year. The assorted forms these completed Fragments take are collectively known as a morphing collectible.

Base Collectible Fragments

To summon a base collectible, you first need all of the Fragment parts. The Impresario always stocks all the parts you need to construct a base collectible for the current morphing collectible. The morphing collectible available rotates every year. You can acquire all fragments of a base collectible from the Impresario during event periods, and once you have them all, you can combine them within your Collections UI (it consumes the fragments). Once you have the completed base collectible, you can begin collecting its Fragments again, allowing you to create a second one after you’ve upgraded the first!

Upgrade Collectible Fragments

Of course, the base collectibles are just a beginning, and should you continue to participate in ESO's in-game events and continue to earn Event Tickets, you can upgrade them into even more exciting items. In addition to the base collectible Fragments, during events, the Impresario also sells Upgrade Fragments. Upgrade Fragments allow you to evolve or upgrade your new base item to something different.

Note that while the Impresario always stocks the base collectible Fragments required to get your morphing collectible started, the individual Upgrade Fragments are added to her store with every new event in the quarter and are available only during that period. Once the next quarter begins, the previous quarter’s fragments are removed from the Impresario. However, they may reappear later in time in the inventory of Philius Dormier, so missed opportunities may not remain so forever!

Keep an eye out on in-game event announcements on elderscrollsonline.com for the latest information on which Upgrade Fragments are currently available during that specific event.

How to Use Upgrade Collectible Fragments

After you have acquired all three unique Upgrade Fragments, navigate to your Collections UI, select the Fragments category, choose the item you have fragments for, and use them. This causes your morphing collectible to upgrade into a new item. This also allows you to get a new base collectible so you can upgrade it into another, completely different item later in the year.

Each quarter, a different set of Upgrade Fragments will become available, allowing you to upgrade your base collectibles into all kinds of different items. If you have already evolved your collectible, don't worry, the Impresario ALWAYS stocks base collectible fragments, so you can save up to acquire a new copy that you can then upgrade in later quarters.

With Event Tickets and all these unique rewards, there are even more reasons to take part in ESO's many different in-game events. Be sure to keep an eye out for our event announcement articles to stay on top of how to acquire Event Tickets and which unique Upgrade Fragments are currently available from the Impresario. Have fun!
