A Night on the Town – By Cramp on TESO-RP
There are some people who can look at a group of well-armed brigands and feel nothing but a vague sort of distaste, a disappointment that so many folk would have united in such a failing of life choices. Mal appeared to be such a person, his heavy jaw creased in a distinct frown, his brow ridge lowered, making his small eyes almost disappear in shadow. He was wide-shouldered at the best of times, muscles piled upon muscles like some kind of rough muddy golem, clay crudely slapped into a mannish form, but now he bristled bigger, swollen and brutish. Fear appeared to be a foreign concept to the man.
[Daniyah] Ovank'a - To Search for Mercy – By Dyna on TESO-RP
Her father’s greenhouse was cool and bright, half sunken into the ground with stained glass windows reflecting brilliant color against the sand-colored stone. Medicinal plants grew in deep clay pots, the smell of leaves and blossoms mingling with cool wet earth and pungent herbs. It was here that her great uncle rested, and it was here where he would spend the last of his days.
Letter from a Soulburst Convalescent – By Galien on TESO-RP
Esteemed Valeiros,
It is difficult to express how relieved I feel to learn that you have survived the Cyrodiilic event. The story you recount is fascinating, but I find I cannot even bring myself to grieve over its tragic aspects, so well have you lifted my spirits. I can only hope that the news of my own continued survival brings you solace in like measure.

TESO-RP
The TESO-RP community is holding their next lore discussion, Lore Surgery with Mycroft & Friends, in just a few days. Here’s all the info!
- When: Saturday, January 18th at 20.00 CET (7PM GMT / 2PM EST)
- Where: On the TESO-RP Mumble chat, in the Lore Discussion channel.
- Who: Your hosts will be TESO-RP members Mycroft, Galien, Neyla, Pigeons, and The Ragebear
- Discussion Topics (from TESO-RP): The topic of this session will be the belief systems of Tamriel. Most of you know of the Eight to Nine Divines, the Daedric Princes, and of course the void itself, Sithis.. But those are only the standard Imperial representations of each.. And what about the Tsaesci and their Snake Wheel? What did the Dwemer believe in, since they didn't believe in magic? I assume that you get where I'm going.
Question of the Week Answers
We’ve gathered up some of your answers to last week’s Developer Question of the Week. Watch the video to see the full question, and look for a new Developer Question of the Week this Thursday.
- "Escaping from an arranged marriage, the pampered daughter of a sleazy used cart dealer escapes the confines of her sheltered family compound. Although magic comes easy to Elves, to better hide from those who seek to bring her home, she takes up with those who would teach her the way of the blade. Freedom is sweet, but a dearth of comforts, staff, and riches takes some getting used to. Perhaps a little magic, and maybe a prayer or two to a Daedric Prince couldn't hurt ...." – Connie Reed
- "Elric, the Grey Wolf, is a Nord. Born in the Pale and steeped in the ancient magics of his people, Elric secretly serves the entity he knows as Herma-Mora. Elric is hungry for knowledge, and his closest friend, Rackhir, has warned him time and again that he will meet his end serving this mysterious entity. But Elric's desire for arcane power will soon overcome all good sense ...." – Nathan Cartmell
- "Khaja's mother was one of the first victims of the Knahaten Flu when Khaja was a child, and her brother was to be the future Mane of Elsweyr. In her misery, she fled into the desert to die and join her parents, but was saved from death by a nomadic tribe. Years would pass, and she would grow into a warrior. Fearful that her tribe would learn of her relation to the Mane, she finally left Elsweyr altogether, and spent the next 10 years as a mercenary, learning the art of alchemy. When the war finally started, she joined one of her clients, a Khajiiti caravan by the name of Va Khaj Dar, reprising her role as guard, scout, and assassin, as well as expanding into tactics." – Khaja Khajiit
- "My character's going to be an Orc who, looking for a means of building his strength, set to look for the perfect fight to prove himself strong. Seeing as they can command the elements with the twitch of a pinkie, he figured mages would be the answer, hunting them down, learning from them, and stealing their tactics in the process, eventually falling into worship of Hircine the Hunter, and taking up the suffix Mage-Eater. Whether or not he actually snacks on them is up for guessing." – Manuel de Valle
- "Drenn was a Dunmer Spellwright under House Telvanni at a relatively young age due to his sorcerous skills. However, not quite up to the challenge of research and study and upset about the apathetic nature of House Telvanni towards others, he left to travel Morrowind and later though Skyrim with his friend, the slave to his recently deceased father and mother (damn cliff racers), Hides-in-Fear, the Argonian. Word of the Ebonheart Pact came years later after Drenn had learned the Nord ways of combat, and he sought a field of battle where he could both protect those who needed protection and to combine his sorcerous talent and love of swordplay. Serving as a run-of-the-mill soldier and eventually a sergeant in the Pact, he successfully held off the Daggerfall Covenant troops in their invasion of Morrowind. Before the events of ESO, he and Hides-In-Fear went to investigate rumors of a certain ‘King of Worms’ gaining more power. Well, things don't go well, and next thing he knows, he awakens in a cell in Coldharbour." – Richard Graham
- "Jormun is an Argonian orphan born under the Sign of the Shadow and trained as a Shadowscale from birth. He left Black Marsh as a young Argonian shirking his duty to join the Dark Brotherhood, instead living a life of adventure. But his destiny has caught up with him and it's time for him to face his fate." – Chelsea Kerr
