The Elder Scrolls Online April 2023 Free Play Event is now live and will continue until Monday April 17, 2023. During the event period, you can dive into the world of Tamriel during the Second Era at no cost on PC/Mac, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles.
To begin, visit our Free Play page and select your platform. This event grants you access to the ESO base game, which includes four of the game’s classes (Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight), 24 unique zones to explore, and access to ESO’s PvP game modes such as the Battlegrounds and the Alliance War.
Return to Morrowind during the Free Play Event
If you’ve already played ESO during a previous free play event, you can jump back in with no loss of progression. In addition, all brand-new accounts created will also receive 500 crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store.
Once the free play period has concluded on April 17, 2023, you can continue your journey right where you left off by purchasing ESO from the Buy Now page.
High Isle & Base Game Sale
In addition to the Free Play Event, the April 2023 Sale is now also live on select platforms, with some major savings up for grabs on The Elder Scrolls Online.
