Spread Winter Cheer and Win with the ESO Taverns & Tales Holiday Art Contest

’Tis (almost) the season! Submit your entry to our ESO Taverns & Tales Holiday Art Contest and you could win some festive in-game rewards AND a 1-on-1 mentoring session with the ESO Art Team!

The ESO Taverns and Tales Holiday Fan Art Contest begins today, November 9, and will end on Sunday, December 4. Want to enter? Submit a digital copy of your holiday-and-ESO-themed masterpiece in JPG or PNG format below. Each piece will be judged on creativity, quality, adherence to the Official Rules, and overall interpretation of the contest theme. Be sure to include a Taverns & Tales element to the artwork!

We want everyone to get their time in the spotlight, so we'll be sharing some of our favorite pieces with the rest of the ESO community via our social channels throughout the duration of the contest.

Following the contest’s conclusion, our panel of judges will select six winners. This includes three Honorable Mentions, two Runners-Up, and a Grand Prize Winner who be given a full hour to speak directly with a member of the ESO Art Team, receiving tips on techniques, portfolio review, and career advice from a dev who has brought the characters and world you all know and love to life. 1 GRAND PRIZE WINNER

• 21,000 crowns 
• 1-hour virtual 1-on-1 mentor session with a member of the ESO Art Team
• This session will be for the purposes of art discipline discussion and mentorship such as portfolio review, artist tips and techniques, art career mentoring, etc. Not for discussion of ESO-specific topics.
• 2 in-game pets of the player’s choice
• 2 in-game mounts of the player’s choice
• 1 in-game house of the player’s choice
• Note that the in-game house will not include furnishings. 
• 10 in-game furnishings of the player’s choice from the gallery or parlor categories
• Note that these in-game furnishings will take up inventory spots. Be sure that the necessary inventory space is available when you accept your rewards. 
• Pink Torchbug pet 

That’s a whole lot of goodies awaiting whoever takes home 1^st place!

2 RUNNERS-UP

• 14,000 crowns 
• 30-minute virtual 1-on-1 mentor session with a member of the ESO Art team
• This session will be for the purposes of art discipline discussion and mentorship such as portfolio review, artist tips and techniques, art career mentoring, etc. Not for discussion of ESO-specific topics.
• 1 in-game pet of the player’s choice
• 1 in-game mount of the player’s choice
• 5 in-game furnishings of the player’s choice from the gallery or parlor categories
• Note that these in-game furnishings will take up inventory spots. Be sure that the necessary inventory space is available when you accept your rewards. 
• Pink Torchbug pet 

That’s right, the two Runners-Up will also have an opportunity to have a 1-on-1 mentor session for 30 minutes with a card-carrying member of ESO’s Art Team! Finally, we’ll also give out some Honorable Mentions (and prizes) to those whose work drew the attention and admiration of our judges.

Be aware that all pets, mounts, houses, and furnishings that can be collected as a part of your winnings must have been directly sold in the Crown Store at one point or another.
