The Deadlands Prologue questline is now live and available for anybody who owns The Elder Scrolls Online, with no previous DLC or Chapter purchases required. To get started, grab the free quest starter titled “An Apocalyptic Situation” from the in-game Crown Store.
In the Deadlands Prologue, the mysterious Dremora Lyranth once again summons you to investigate a new scheme from the Order of the Waking Flame. During the two prologue quests, you’ll uncover Mehrunes Dagon’s latest plans for Tamriel, encounter fearsome new foes, and explore all-new worlds.
The events of the Deadlands Prologue lead directly into the upcoming Deadlands DLC storyline and are an important part of the ongoing Gates of Oblivion year-long storyline—don’t forget, it’s free if you already own ESO! If you complete both prologue quests, you’ll unlock the Grave Elegance mask, a unique face covering that we’re told is all the rage among Fargrave’s social elite.
