DLC CONTENT
When you purchase the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack, you get full access to the Cradle of Shadows and Ruins of Mazzatun, two all-new Argonian-themed dungeons featured in the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack. Like all of ESO's dungeons, they'll scale to the level of your group leader, offer both Normal and Veteran modes, and introduce new item sets for you to collect. You can enter these new dungeons at any level, and queue up for them via the Activity Finder starting at level 10.
Cradle of Shadows
The Argonians of the Dark Brotherhood need your help against a cadre of rogue assassins who threaten to hurl all of Black Marsh into bloody chaos. Fight your way into the Cradle of Shadows to uncloak the secrets of the twisted Silken Ring!
Ruins of Mazzatun
Venture into Mazzatun, the “Puzzle City" of the Xit-Xaht tribe of Argonians, who have been forcing other Lizardfolk to work as slave labor on a project that has driven their masters mad! Can you free them in time?
Both the Cradle of Shadows and Ruins of Mazzatun dungeons feature three new item sets, challenging new achievements with an appearance reward, and a new monster mask set.
BASE GAME PATCH
The base-game patch that accompanies Shadows of the Hist—free to anyone who owns ESO—is packed with new features and quality-of-life enhancements. Here are some of the highlights:
- Console text chat
- Aetherian Archive and Hel Ra Citadel Trial improvements, including Normal and Veteran modes, revamped rewards, and level scaling
- Dragonstar Arena improvements, including increased monster difficulty and revamped rewards
- The ability to trade bind-on-pickup items to group members in dungeons and Trials
- The introduction of the Cyrodiil town capture system
- Costume Dyeing (exclusive to ESO Plus members)
- Dye Stamps (Crown Store)
- Style Parlor (Crown Store)
- Champion Point cap increase, from 501 to 531
- Rebalancing and adjustments to Racial Passive abilities
- Improved rewards from Undaunted reward chests (Gold, Silver, and Bronze)
- Improved Clothier Surveys
- New achievements for completing Hel Ra Citadel and Aetherian Archive at Champion 160
- Ability tooltip tags that display the primary role for certain abilities
- Ongoing Cyrodiil performance improvements
- 17 updated item sets that now drop at Champion 160

PURCHASE DETAILS
Anyone who has purchased The Elder Scrolls Online and has an active ESO Plus membership automatically receives access to the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack. If your ESO Plus membership ends or lapses, you will no longer have access to Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack content and areas, but you will still retain any items you earned while you had access, including the loyalty reward: The Heroic Personality.
If you do not have an active ESO Plus membership you can purchase the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack for 1,500 crowns via the Crown Store. Crown Packs can be purchased directly from the Xbox Games Store or PlayStation Store, respectively.

- Press [Menu] to open the Player Menu while in-game
- Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
- Press [Y] to buy Crown Packs
- You can access the Crown Store in-game by following these steps:

- Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
- Press [RB] to navigate to the DLC subcategory
- Select "Shadows of the Hist"
PlayStation®4 Players
Crown packs can be purchased directly from the PlayStation Store
- Press [Options] to open the Player Menu while in-game
- Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
- Press [Triangle] to buy Crown Packs
- You can access the Crown Store in-game by following these steps:
- Press [Options] to open the Player Menu while in-game
- Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
- Press [R1] to navigate to the DLC subcategory
- Select "Shadows of the Hist"
After you purchase the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack, there is no additional download. All of its content will be automatically installed as part of the corresponding patch. You can venture into the Cradle of Shadows and Ruins of Mazzatun dungeons as soon as the DLC is unlocked on your account, either through purchasing with crowns or as part of your ESO Plus membership.
ACCESS DETAILS
Once you purchase the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack or activate your ESO Plus membership, you can travel to the Cradle of Shadows and Ruins of Mazzatun dungeons one of three different ways:
- Go to the Activity Finder and select “Specific Dungeons" in the Dungeon Finder. Select Cradle of Shadows or Ruins of Mazzatun from the list, then join the queue.
- Walk up to the dungeon entrances in Shadowfen if you are playing an Ebonheart Pact character of any level, or an Aldmeri Dominion or Daggerfall Covenant character that is level 50 (by way of the Silver and Gold versions of Shadowfen.)
- Select the Point of Interest map icon for each dungeon, regardless of your character's alliance.

SHADOWS OF THE HIST CROWN STORE OFFERINGS
In addition to all of the Style Parlor features coming out with Update 11, you'll find two new Crown Store offerings straight from the swamps of Shadowfen: The Hist Guar mount and Haj Mota Hatchling pet.
The Shadows of the Hist Collector's Bundle is also available, and contains a selection of items that are sure to aid you in the dangerous the swamps of Shadowfen. In addition to the Shadows of the Hist DLC game pack, the bundle includes the Hist Guar mount, Haj Mota Hatchling pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls—a value of 5,000 crowns—for just 2,500 crowns! Look for the Shadows of the Hist Collector's Bundle in the Crown Store's “Featured" section.
