We have some exciting changes coming to the Crown Store and ESO Plus in the Dark Brotherhood update! Read on to see what's in store for you and your character.
One item that's been hotly anticipated are additional character slots. Purchasing one of these will allow you to expand your maximum number of characters by one so you can have up to four additional characters, for a total of 12 playable characters! If you're currently at the max, you'll find information about how to purchase additional slots right on the Character Select screen, though you'll be able to purchase more slots any time you'd like. These will be available in the in-game Crown Store when Dark Brotherhood launches for 1500 crowns per slot.
Another handy feature is the ability to preview motifs from the Crown Store. Before, you could only rely on the image to know what you'd be purchasing. Now, you can just click the Preview button to see what a Crown Store motif will look like on your character before you buy!
And, of course, let's not forget hats. Toward the end of June, you'll be able to purchase two hats from the in-game Crown Store to outfit your character – the Silvenari Felt Bycoket and the Z'en Vengeance Kiss-Me-Not Cap – and we'll be adding more as time goes on! If you can't wait to wear a new hat, there will be two hats available in the base game for you to wear when Dark Brotherhood is released: Cadwell's Pot Helm, and the Vosh Rakh Ceremonial Mask. These two items were previously available as a costume, but we've converted them to hats so you can now wear them with a costume!
Lastly, we're excited to introduce an expanded crafting inventory exclusive for ESO Plus members. This feature, called Craft Bags in-game, allows you to hold a nearly-unlimited number of basic crafting supplies. Additionally, these items don't count against your inventory limit, and is shared across all characters on your account. In the event your ESO Plus membership expires, you'll still be able to access any resources stored in your Craft Bag; you just won't be able to add new materials to it.
These are just a taste of what's to come in the ESO Crown Store, and we plan to continually improve the store and add items you want to see. We'll see you in the Gold Coast when Dark Brotherhood launches on PC next week on May 31st, and on Xbox One and PlayStation®4 on June 14th!
