Zenimax Online Studios was at QuakeCon 2015 with a panel titled The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited: Imperial City And Beyond. On the panel was Matt Firor (Game Director), Brian Wheeler (Lead PVP), Eric Wrobel (Lead Combat) and Rich Lamber (Creative Director). They discussed the coming launch of the Imperial City, some of the new items sets and the future of ESO in general.
Update 7 is on track to be a huge update to Elder Scrolls Online including the new Imperial City DLC zone. We won't have official patch notes until it goes to the Public Test Server so in the meantime this page will keep track of all information regarding Update 7 sourced from the developers on the forums, Reddit, ESO Live and even some data mining of ESO itself.
The Imperial City will be released for the PC/Mac on August 31. The release date for Xbox is September 15 and for PS4 is September 16. The Imperial City is a huge new zone in the center of Cyrodiil which combines both PVE and PVP. You can read the latest detailed info on the Imperial City page.

The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood will be added to The Elder Scrolls Online in 2016. ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS) has officially revealed that the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood will be added to The Elder Scrolls Online in the first half of 2016. The revelation was made during a QuakeCon 2015 panel hosted by ZOS.

QuakeCon 2015 - Imperial City and Beyond
Some big names from The Elder Scrolls Online are at QuakeCon today where they will be hosting and live-streaming a panel at 5:30 EST / 2:30 PST / 21:30 GMT on the upcoming Imperial City as well as the hinting at further updates to come.
Today, on the Elder Scrolls Online official site, ZeniMax announced details of Tamriel Unlimited's first DLC release. The Imperial City will be available for testing on the public test server later this month and will release on August 31 for PC/Mac players, September 15th for Xbox One, and September 16th for PlayStation®4.

The First official DLC game pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, Imperial City, now has a release date. The DLC will be on PTS later on July, and the launch date for PC/Mac is August 31st, for Xbox One September 15th, and for PlayStation®4 on September 16th.
