In our latest Guild Spotlight, we meet a sinister group who prefers the war-scarred hills of Cyrodiil, dark deeds, and the cloak of night.
Today's Guild Spotlight features The Most Wanted, guild of former Tamrielic criminals who eke out their legacy in Cyrodiil, one swift kill at a time. They're not all murder and mayhem, though—they've been known to take on the occasional dungeon, too. The next time you're in Cyrodiil and feel the skin on the back of your neck prickle, watch out—a member of The Most Wanted may be stalking you from the shadows.
If you're interested in having your guild showcased in a future spotlight, be sure to answer the questions in this forum thread. Don't forget to include a few screenshots of your guild assembled together for us to choose from!
The Most Wanted
What is the name of your guild? Does this name have a particular meaning or history?
We are The Most Wanted Guild. With the new laws implemented as part of the Justice System, and increase in guard patrols in Tamriel, we became known as the most wanted in Tamriel—thus the name was born.
When was the guild founded? Tell us how your guild came into being.
We founded the guild on the 25th of March (2015), at the height of when we were pursued in Tamriel's cities. Most known for our propensity to kill, we found refuge in Cyrodiil and each other. Feeling like a band of “outsiders," we decided to stick together and fight for a cause of our own making.
To which alliance has your guild sworn allegiance?
We fight for the blue—we fight for Daggerfall.
Why was this alliance chosen?
The guild was founded on Daggerfall soil, so we decided to stick with it. We also recruited some well-known crime lords and hitmen from other alliances.
How many members does your guild have at the moment?
At the present time we have 170+ members (and counting.)
Does your guild have a website of some sort?
Only this group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MostWantedEso/
At what time of day is your guild most active?
Our members are most active when the sun goes down—late evening to night. We prefer to fight within the darkness of Cyrodiil so our identities aren't recognized.
Which languages or nationalities are represented in your guild?
We are an international guild, and though English has been known to be spoken between us at times, we prefer to let our blood and weapons do the talking for us. (We play on the European megaserver.)
What do your guild members most like to do together in ESOTU?
We like to ambush foes, and raid villages and castles. We are mostly known for our sneaky ninja style of playing. We go hunting for lorebooks and Skyshards throughout the day, and have even recently started to do dungeon runs (Undaunted) every now and again for the fun of it!
What does your guild focus on mostly in the game? Do you prefer to explore dungeons, taking over keeps in Cyrodiil, visiting taverns for role-plays, do you craft goods and trade them or is it a combination of all of these?
We make sure to always have a fort or keep in our name. If we don't, then something is wrong. We will clear some dungeons from time to time, mostly to collect Skyshards and lorebooks, or to get boss item drops. As we are a PvP guild, we also recruit traders that provide us with food, drinks and potions—trading also an open and welcome activity.
Why is your guild unique?
Most Wanted is unique in many ways. Loyalty is one of our biggest achievements, seeing as how we are all former criminals (not real criminals, just roleplaying!) The amount of dedication from players towards the guild is amazing. We are also well organized and use TeamSpeak to coordinate during guild group runs.
Is your guild part of a greater alliance of guilds? What was the reason for the connection?
No, we fight alone. We communicate with other Daggerfall guilds from time to time, to make sure our lands in Cyrodiil are safe, but that's about it. When we fight as one, we can take on groups of foes even if we are outnumbered. And that takes courage!
Does your guild run particular events? If it does, let us know!
We have events nearly every week, or every other week. Events are based on what the guild needs. If we have many newcomers to the guild, we will organize an event to instruct new members in our way of fighting. We also create events for the purpose of practicing and improving communicating between leaders and members. And when everything and everyone is up-to-date, we also host events to show our presence in Cyrodiil, tabards flashing.
What has been your favorite or most unforgettable moment in your ESOTU guild up to now?
As we're well-known for our ninja-like skills, you don't want to mess with our scrolls. We have successfully stolen scrolls in broad daylight from afar; setting most keeps under attack to stop teleports and resurrections while the main group takes the scrolls back home. Also we have crowned two of our members as Emperor!
Has your guild secretly (or perhaps publicly) sworn itself to a Daedric Prince? If so, to which one?
Most Wanted follows the ways of the Dark Brotherhood. Mephala is our favored Deadric Prince. Debauchery, murder, secrets, and plotting are our way of things. Our tabard is also themed after the Dark Brotherhood, with a bloody hand in the center of it.
After a long day of hardcore adventuring, where does your guild go for a bit of relaxation?
We never rest—it's a ride-or-die atmosphere. There's always someone that needs to taste the sharp, cold ends of our blades.
Tell us a few things you would like to get out to the ESOTU community.
- We are currently in the non-Veteran Cyrodiil campaign, Blackwater Blade. We also have Veteran characters, but mostly for Champion Point gain, etc.
- We have an active TeamSpeak channel to coordinate our communication throughout group runs.
- We have recently made a Facebook group, so we can post pictures and talk about things together even when we are away from the game.
- We have an amazing guild rank system themed around crime. So going up in our ranks is a priority for all.
- Most Wanted is currently in search of players that have skill in leading groups—our group leaders are currently few in number and we're looking to grow.
If any other players might want to join your guild, how should they contact you?
We accept members of any age and language. If you're interested in getting an invite, contact our main leader—AKA The Crime Lord—@HouLiGaN. Any of our members can invite also, so if you find a Most Wanted member in Tamriel just ask for an invite!
