His voice was a bit colder than normal, and there wasn't the slightest trace of a smile behind his tusks. Whatever they were talking about, it couldn't have been very funny.
"She got borin' again. Why do you have ta leave me with her? I like your clan. Eph makes tyamal. The lizard's silly. I throw rocks at 'im sometimes. The lizard, not Epherus." Isondra came closer, joking to try and put her father in a better mood.

"By Satakal," the redguard whispered, "tonight truly is beautiful."
Gaston nodded, "Aye. A shame Ahtar here can't see it on account of his obsession with that map!" Gaston finished his sentence with a loud, good-natured laugh, poking at Ahtar's bookish nature.
