The sudden spark that ignited one of the tents would be the least of their worries; a loud crash sounded from the entrance as the cave's archway shattered and fell as a wall of rubble, sealing the only way out. The only light available now came from the small glimmers of moonlight that managed to find their ways through the gaps in the rubble and the blazing tent. The panic was by no means well-handled: there was far too much unintelligible shouting for anything to be coordinated, giving the fire the opportunity it needed to spread onto the next tent, then the next, filling the cavern with smoke."

Krist ducked a mighty swing, that would have left most men off balance. It did not leave the big warrior Red anything but ready to swing his massive serrated sword again. The outlaw had apparently noticed he was losing the battle of swordsmanship to the knight, and decided to take it all up a notch. Krist felt the piercing sting of the blade tip enter his side, before he spun from it and offered his own swing. He was sure he cut his opponent, but one could not tell by judging the attack of Red.

Standing on the distant hillside, a lone figure watched the funeral as it progressed. Such a senseless death had shaken the small farming community. The deceased was a young woman who had so much potential ahead of her and she was beloved by those fortunate enough to have known her. The figure clinched gloved fists with unbridled rage at the fact that the young woman had been murdered and the killer was still at large. It had not been the first time, but as the winds whipped the cloak around the figure, there was a silent vow made that justice would be served. It would not come from the authorities despite the fact that they would claim so, but from an avenging angel. When one is dead, it's easy to get away with murder.
