When French Canadian guilds decide to ally, everybody notices!
There's safety in numbers, and any French Canadian will tell you “I remember." This is why many French Canadian guilds have united in one hefty alliance, powerful enough to create a major political player, offering many events, and giving French-speaking players on the North American megaserver a place to gather. Don't wait any longer - go meet this active and friendly community!
Do you think your guild should be featured in an upcoming Guild Spotlight? We're always looking for guilds to showcase. Just answer our questions in this forum thread (unless you have your own, more relevant questions!), send us a few screenshots, and you might find your guild here in the future!

What is your guild's name? Does that name have a special history or significance?
Our guild is just called The Alliance. It does bear a very special meaning: it is a gathering of several French Canadian guilds (from Canada and Québec) on the North American megaserver. This alliance of ours includes at least one guild in each Alliance, plus one trading guild, which encompasses everyone!
- Aldmeri Dominion: ALDMERI QC
- Daggerfall Covenant: ImperiumQC
- Ebonheart Pact: Unité du Pacte & Ordre du Dragon
- “Pan-Alliance" trading guild: EsoAlliance Quebec
- & many more…
When was your guild formed? Tell us the story of how your guild came to be.
Our Alliance began in the fall of 2014, or rather 2E 582. The Alliance was born from a multi-guild concept to gather all French Canadians on the North American megaserver. It began with two guilds from the Aldmeri Dominion - QC Empire & PatrioteQc - who signed a treaty with that intention. The alliance now includes several guilds in all Alliances! We do carry a certain diplomatic weight that will bear on the conquest of Cyrodiil… Anything is possible! Come visit us for the full story!
What alliance has your guild sworn fealty to?
All of them! We aim to gather as many French Canadian players as possible, to schedule events and entertain our wonderful community! This way, you can find us in each alliance! The only place we have not left a footmark in is Coldharbour, but we are working on that.
Why did you choose that alliance?
Our Alliance is about mutual help, and its main diplomatic strength comes from conciliatory dialogue. Our portal showcases guilds according to their own identity, with no bias towards a particular banner color. Whether blood runs blue, yellow or red, you are welcome in our French-speaking midst on the NA megaserver.
How many members does your guild currently have?
We are in a state of constant expansion, but a few hundred members is a given! If you are French Canadian or can express yourself in French with ease, you are cordially invited to join one of our allied guilds, because all volunteers are welcome.
Does your guild have a website?
“A website… are there such artifacts in Tamriel? Ah, perhaps it's a book! Check with Urag gro-Shub in the Winterhold academy, in the northern reaches of Skyrim. He knows a great many books and scrolls. Perhaps he can guide you?"
Of course we have a unique website! It boasts a forum, a marvelous theme and also a schedule of all events, done especially for us! You can suggest your own events and indicate which others you want to attend. It is a very self-explanatory tool, ever so useful for a group like ours. You can also find the latest news about the Alliance on the homepage. Come visit us! https://esoalliance.quebec/
What times and days is the guild most active?
We do try to be active as often and long as we can. But the Alliance is more heavily represented in the evening and in the weekends. But that doesn't stop us from offering events at any time! Once you become a member of our guild, check the schedule to find what you want.
What countries do your members span?
We aim to gather all French Canadian players in one big network on the North American megaserver. As such, our guilds are mostly meant for French Canadians, but if you speak French and use your imagination, you just might get it.
Obviously, it is only good business acumen to include anyone in our trading guild, EsoAlliance Quebec! We have met other Canadians in our trading guild, and are glad for it.
What activities in ESOTU do your members enjoy doing together the most?
We have something for everyone! With so many members, we had to create an event comity to host PvP events. That includes Alliance-Arena, a single combat concept against friends from opposite alliances in Cyrodiil.
One of our Aldmeri guilds has recently dedicated itself to Trials, with players ranging towards the “hardcore" end of the spectrum.
We also like to gather groups for dungeons. Each day, we find volunteers for the Undaunted pledges.
If it is wealth you seek, your goals align with that of our trading guild, EsoAlliance Quebec! And we do like diversity. So if you like role-play, the Alliance is the place to be!
What makes your guild unique?
We strongly believe in our alliance of several guilds encompassing all three alliances. We are not the only ones to sponsor such a concept, but we do believe that the work needed to accomplish a beneficial alliance is more than worth it.
Is your guild part of a larger alliance of guilds? Why did you join them?
All roads lead to the Alliance…
Does your guild ever host special events? If so, tell us about them!
While the Alliance is still young, it offers many events and allows members to publicly host their own event, thanks to our scheduling tools. The span of our events will make them memorable for the all denizens of Tamriel. Come offer your own events, and we will try to make them come true!
What is your favorite or most memorable moment as a guild so far in ESOTU?
Once, before delving into a dungeon, we prayed to our god Sheogorath. */kowtow*. Then, as a sign, another player came to the door, bearing the very name of our god. From that day forth, we never stopped worshipping Him!
Does your guild secretly (or not so secretly) follow a specific Daedric Prince? If so, which one?
Yyyesssssss! Cheeeeeeese!! Our great lord Sheogarath tells me he finds this question very amusing! *weird dance*
After a long day of adventuring, where does your guild enjoy to wind down?
Aside from our Alliance Precious Scroll (forum), we use a party power allowing us to establish a mind link between our soldiers so they can chat together about whatever they want. “Whadayamean TeamSpeak? Never heard THAT name."
Tell us some fun facts about your guild.
- Our god, Sheogorath, has sent us several signs of his presence, the greater having already been told of above.
- We have once toppled a great and powerful member of the Alliance who did not live up to his policy. We have now dubbed him “the Self-loving demon." Our people stand for mutual helpfulness.
- Some of our members are sometimes too fond of mead and moonsugar, but remain very inspiring soldiers nonetheless.
- Our public library was once burned and vandalized by villains. We lost all of its data, but have founded a new one and created the rank of Loremaster, Keeper of the Library. That will be an uplifting tale to read to future denizens of Tamriel.
If people are interested in joining your guild, who should they contact?
Any way is fine with us, but the simplest would be via our website, esoalliance.quebec. Create an account and swing by “Présentez-vous", the first category in our forum. We want to know you!
When welcoming you, one of our officers will invite you to EsoAlliance Quebec, our trading guild spanning all Alliances.
You will then receive a second invitation to one of our guilds, depending on your character's Alliance! It's that simple! No tricks, all you have to do is be French Canadian or speak French, and play on the NA megaserver!
